Lack of funding delays CSUF pedestrian bridge project
After a pedestrian bridge over Nutwood Avenue was proposed in 2019, the construction has been delayed due to a lack of funding needed to design the bridge, with its final cost still undetermined.
The proposed Titan Gateway Bridge will connect the Cal State Fullerton main campus and College Park at Nutwood and Commonwealth Avenue for an estimated cost of $12 million.
The CSUF Physical Master Plan, issued in March 2020, proposed the bridge across Nutwood Avenue for pedestrians.

Catalytic converter theft hits CSUF students' wallets
As catalytic converter thefts continue to rise across the nation, Cal State Fullerton is no exception. However, campus police may not have the resources to fix this problem as it worsens.
There were 21 catalytic converters reported as stolen on campus last year, said Capt. Scot Willey of the CSUF Police Department. This year, there have been 14 catalytic converters reported as stolen.

University partnership expands internet access for students
Cal State Fullerton is increasing internet access for eligible students by providing them with a tablet that doubles as an internet hotspot for under $20 a year.
Rommel Hidalgo, associate vice president for the Division of Information and Technology, said the Center for Equitable Digital Access has set up a station for Excess Telecom on the first floor of the Pollak Library. Excess Telecom is an internet service provider that is licensed through the Affordable Connectivity Program.
